Define Boodo

Recently, some users have asked us, What does Boodo mean? How do you even say it?
Boodo in Somali, means FLEA (the insect). This was discovered some time after Boodo was acquired. This news left us shocked because back in the day, Boodo was created as an online shopping community (almost exactly like an Online Flea Market) without even knowing the connotation of our word.
As for the second question, there is no real way to say Boodo. We say "Boo-Do", others say "boo-dough or bo-dough". This does not matter to us much, but what is more important is the way it is written. Hope you enjoyed our little facts, hopefully we can create a community where people can not only understand our name, but our motives and mission.
